I just wanted to reply to Caroline's comment.
It's something I've always found very hard - paying somebody to do things I can do myself - but I'm working on it!
This garden has the potential to be a real haven for me and to get
it into that state, I will have to overcome my block (several times) and fork out.
Shame you can't pop over and take a look......
